Welcome to Year 1

In Year 1 pupils’ curriculum experiences will be extraordinary as they are immersed in inspirational, extensive and dynamic learning opportunities that equip them with the knowledge, skills and attributes to be successful and aspirational learners. Firm foundations for learning will be created by teaching new knowledge and skills that build on what has been taught before to enable children to deepen their understanding of key concepts.
