Year 2

Welcome to Year 2 – Chestnut Park School
A warm welcome to our Year 2 class page!
Year 2 is a wonderful year of growth — a time where children develop more independence, confidence and curiosity in their learning. As the final year of Key Stage 1, we continue to build on the strong foundations from Reception and Year 1, while preparing for a smooth transition into Key Stage 2.
This page gives you an overview of life in Year 2. For regular updates and classroom news, please check Seesaw and MCAS (My Child At School) — our main platforms for communication.
